Kidnapping and Extortion – Supreme Court Bail Granted

On the 14th of July 2023, Nick Crawford appeared before the Brisbane Supreme Court for an application for bail on behalf of our client who was held in custody at the Maryborough Correctional Centre. Our client has been charged with several serious offences including kidnapping, assault occasioning bodily harm and extortion.


A detailed review was completed of the brief of evidence and various deficiencies were identified. After hearing submissions from Nick Crawford, Justice Hindman granted Supreme Court bail with various conditions. Our clients matter currently remains before the Gladstone Magistrates Court.
